I am an international touring guitarist, composer and recording artist.

I think of myself as a composer who plays guitar, rather than a guitarist. I am fortunate to have been able to invent a way of playing the guitar that has enabled me to create solo multi-voiced compositions that contain an integrated percussive groove.

I do not limit myself to this way of playing however. I love all kinds of music and always choose the guitaristic approach that works best for a particular sound. Some tunes sound best played conventionally.

I play various kinds guitars, but what I am doing is always about the music, not the guitar. I view the guitar as a tool...my chosen vehicle for expressing and exploring the music inside me. If I love a particular guitar, it is because of the music I have been able to create with it.

My current touring set-up consists of a custom made long neck acoustic guitar, a semi-acoustic archtop jazz guitar, a resophonic steel guitar, a 12-string acoustic, and a baritone electric. In the past I have also toured with a classical, two solid-body electrics, and a conventional acoustic.
