Started playing originally with some friends from collage back in 1978. We formed a band called Q-4-Zero did half a dozen gigs and 2 demo studio sessions. I then met the wife and had to leave the band!!

Coming back to playing guitar now it’s really odd, I have some technique but no memory of the 22 songs, cord progressions lead solo’s etc. I used to play in the band, so its ‘start again’. I’m currently working my way through the old tutor books and picking things up from guitar mags such as Guitarist and Guitar Techniques.

I’m also refurbishing all my old gear that’s been in storage. I have a really nice Orange 50W twin reverb combo that’s not altogether fully functional at the moment. It had a truly amazing overdriven blues tone and I’m really upset its not working at the moment. To tied me over I’ve just bought a 60W Roland Cube, great little combo with some superb modelling.

I’m looking for musicians to jam with or form a band, I’m itching to get out there and gig again. Drop me a line if you’re the same.
