Advice please – I am looking to get a small amp for home use [jamming with friends acoustic guitars electric keyboards occasional saxophone] and want a primarily clean sound, nice and simple single channel – no reverb – friendly to pedals [MXR custom overdrive and Carbon copy] 10" speaker but with option to use a bigger external cab if in a bigger room want quality and reliability and was thinking of the Cornell Romany as the £650-700 price is roughly what I want to spend any comments advice or suggestions – the guitars I will be using have Lindy Fralin low output humbuckers and Bare Knuckle Manhattan P90s many thanks David |

Just a thought, but have you considered Cornford amps? The Harlequin is small, compact but with an awesome sound (I should point out that I’ve never played through one, but have heard one in use). |
